Bob my man, the old brain cells must indeed be getting a little rusty, but wasn't the 'Super Six' made by Suzuki?
References :
2 stroke bikes that are street legal will have a separate oil tank - so straight petrol can be used on fill up.
2 stroke off road race bikes don't usually have a separate oil tank - to cut down on weight.
Racers mix their own petrol/oil using quality race oil and their own tested oil/petrol mixture ratio.
Quads will have an oil tank for convenience.

The petrol station you mention might sell that stuff for owners of 2 stroke garden equipment - string trimmer, lawn mower, chain saw, etc)
References :
I like 2-strokes, especially old European ones. I have had Puchs CZs and Jawas with oil injection systems, but the bike that gives me the least trouble in this regard (it gives plenty in other regards) is my premix-only MZ TS250, which popples along nicely on ashless BelRay at 50:1.
References :
I owned a YZ 250A Yamaha that required mixing the oil and gas and a Yamaha 250 Enduro that had a tank for oil. Both were the same year model. One (Enduro) was a dual purpose bike that came with lights and horn, and the YZ was a motocross bike that was a racing model. It had nearly half again as much horsepower and weighed about half as much. Suzuki made a GS750 that was a three cylinder "two stroker" that would almost outrun the Word of God. The only problem with it was getting the mix right from low rpm to higher rpm. It was one bike that required you take a dozen or so spark plugs along on a trip because it would oil foul them as fast as they went in.
References :
most modern 2 strokes ( and a lot of old ones ) do indeed use a separate oil tank - much better , also like you i remember the old 2 stroke " dispenser " on garage forecourts - more often than not having a handle like a one armed bandit the attendant had to pump like crazy ! had a few strokers large and small but never been a fan .btw , just curious but dont remember any being banned .
References :
old git riding 42 years .
