Hi there. I know that Quinn Direct do bikes and cars, But the problem is that car and bike no claims bonus is different. For example, i have 3 yrs no claims on my car, but i cant use them on my bike. So you may just have to pay a small charge to end your car cover and start again on your bike. I must recommend a company for bike insurance - http://www.falcon-bikes.co.uk/ And ask to speak to Ollie. Very helpful guys.
Hope This Helps Dave!

You can change your car insurance to a different car and just pay the differnce in the premiums, as for changing to a bike I expect the insurance company would be willing to assist but your ncd will not transfer over to a different vehicle type.

No.

You will need to cancel your car insurance and take out a new motorcycle policy.

Some insurers do offer "6-wheel" insurance, though (combined car and motorcycle policies).

You will find that the policies for cars and bikes are written and are very different si it is a matter of cancelling the car one and starting a new bike one. Problem - cancelling early will cost you about 5 months worth of premium plus admin costs not just the 3 months. NCBs are not transferable from cars to bikes
