Motorbike - insurance company sold wrecked motorbike on WITHOUT OWNERS CONSENT or log book. HELP!!?

Please help!!!
My boyfriend was involved in an accident on his motorbike last year. The motorbike is more or less a write off, only fit for selling parts. The insurance company took the bike off his hands in April last year but he kept hold of the log book.

Reliant Robin insures as bike?

If a reliant robin can be driven with a motor bike license, where on earth do you get a motorbike insurer who will insure it as such. The only online quotes I can get have them listed as cars. But these assume you have a car license?

owning a car at 17? uk?

hey, im just wondering how much would it cost for a 17 year old
Takes lessons + pass
insurance per year (how much does insurance go down if you dont crash?)
a small car, manual, for around 1000 quid
petrol (i’d be using it everyday)
Are motorbikes any cheaper? if so by how much?
